Title: Super Information Theory: The Coherence Conservation Law Unifying the Wave Function, Gravity, and Time
Original Publication Date: February 9, 2025 (Draft 73 updated August 14, 2025)
Overview
Super Information Theory (SIT) presents a unification of physics and mathematics built on two primitive informational fields: a fundamental complex coherence field ψ(x) and a real time-density scalar ρₜ(x). From these primitives, SIT recovers general relativity, quantum mechanics, and thermodynamics in their known limits. It reframes gravity as arising from coherence gradients and interprets electromagnetism as holonomy of the coherence phase. A single covariant action principle encodes the coherence-conservation law from which familiar—and novel—physical laws follow.
Core Fields & Principles
-
Coherence field ψ(x): Complex amplitude whose phase/holonomy yields gauge structure; spatial-temporal coherence gradients source curvature-like effects.
-
Time-density ρₜ(x): Real scalar controlling local clock rates and energetic bookkeeping; gradients of ρₜ couple to ψ-dynamics and effective gravitational response.
-
Coherence conservation law: A variational statement tying the evolution of ψ and ρₜ to conserved coherence flow, recovering standard conservation laws as limiting cases.
-
Unified action: A covariant functional S[ψ,ρₜ, … ] whose Euler–Lagrange equations reduce to QM/GR/thermo in the appropriate regimes.
Key Derivations & Reinterpretations
-
Particles as topological excitations: Standard-model particles emerge as topological/defect structures of ψ with quantized charges from phase winding and holonomy.
-
Dark sector as coherence structure: “Dark matter” and “dark energy” are reinterpreted as large-scale patterns/gradients in ψ and ρₜ rather than hidden particles/fluids.
-
Mathematical bridges: The framework addresses open problems such as Navier–Stokes regularity and the Yang–Mills mass gap by recasting them in coherence-flow and energy-dissipation coordinates.
-
Number theory linkage: Nontrivial zeros of ζ(s) correspond to stable resonances of ρₜ, with prime numbers acting as fundamental sources for these resonances.
Empirical Pathways & Falsifiability
SIT is designed to be testable. It predicts:
-
BEC gravity analogs: Coherence-gradient-induced anomalies in Bose–Einstein condensates.
-
Precision-clock shifts: Atomic frequency offsets under engineered changes in ρₜ or ψ-coherence.
-
Buoyancy/coherence effects: Small deviations in fluid buoyancy linked to local coherence modulation.
-
Interference signatures: Phase-dependent contrast changes tracking ψ–ρₜ coupling.
Teleonomy & Agency
SIT extends beyond unification to a testable theory of goal-directed behavior: agency is formalized as constrained optimization of coherence flow under the unified action, linking physics, computation, and control to observable behavior.
Provenance & Priority Trail
-
Conceptual origins (April 2017): Foundational ideas leading to SIT were first published on YouTube in early April 2017 on my Neural Lace Podcast.
-
Program maturation (Summer 2022): The wave/time-density and coherence program developed through thousands of pages of GitHub notes under v5ma, including Quantum Gradient Time Crystal Dilation (QGTCD, 2022).
-
Stepping stone (January 2025): Super Dark Time (SDT) formalized time-density and local gravitational computation, serving as the immediate precursor to SIT.
-
Figshare archive (February 2025): SIT Draft 73 was archived under DOI 10.6084/m9.figshare.28379318 (original date 2025-02-09; updated 2025-08-14).
-
Current deposit (context): Because my Figshare account is suspended—likely connected to ongoing scholarly priority disputes regarding originality—I am maintaining parallel archival records to ensure persistence, accessibility, and continuity of the scholarly record.
