Title: Self Aware Networks: OCA (First Draft)

This manuscript, Self Aware Networks: OCA (First Draft), presents the earliest formal articulation of my Self Aware Networks (SAN) framework, a theory of predictive cognition, oscillatory computation, and autonomous network self-reference. The paper was originally published on Figshare (DOI: 10.6084/m9.figshare.29085134) on May 16, 2025.

Provenance & Priority Trail

  • Earliest conceptual origins (April 2017): Key ideas that later became SAN and Super Information Theory were first introduced publicly on my Neural Lace Podcast (uploaded to YouTube in early April 2017).

  • First written corpus (Summer 2022): The framework was documented as thousands of pages of notes on GitHub. A search at github.com/v5ma/selfawarenetworks validates this history and shows terminology and constructs taking shape well before 2025.

  • Figshare DOI record (May 2025): The formal first draft was archived on Figshare under the DOI above.

  • Current deposit: Due to the suspension of my Figshare account—likely connected to ongoing scholarly priority disputes about the originality of my contributions—I am depositing the same work here to ensure continued accessibility and archival persistence.

Scope & Claims
SAN extends the coincidence-bit framework into a multiscale theory of oscillatory computation and agency. It formalizes how deterministic oscillatory processes across cellular, network, and global scales support consciousness and cognition. The first draft introduces methods for wave-based integration (e.g., Cellular Oscillating Tomography, Neural Array Projection Oscillation Tomography, Biological Oscillating Tomography) and emphasizes phase-wave differentials as information carriers distinct from bulk rhythms. Micro-level coincidence events scale via phase-locking to coherent ensembles, offering mechanistic accounts of binding, decision-making, and long-range cortical connectivity.

Context in a Larger Research Program (2017–2025)
This work is part of a broader program spanning neuroscience, AI, and physics and should be read alongside:

  • Bridging Molecular Mechanisms and Neural Oscillatory Dynamics (2024)

  • Super Dark Time: Gravity Computed from Local Quantum Mechanics (January 2025)

  • Super Information Theory (February 2025)

I have been systematically documenting priority—showing equivalences between concepts I developed and later appearances in others’ work—across 60+ articles, many available at SVGN.io. This record provides a transparent timeline of development and independent convergence within the field.

Purpose of this Deposit
By re-uploading here, I aim to preserve the scholarly record, maintain transparent priority documentation, and provide open access to the ongoing development of Self Aware Networks despite the temporary unavailability of the original Figshare landing page.
