The webinar presented the Peer Review Information Service for Monographs (PRISM) and discussed how it can be used in research assessment.
PRISM is a service developped by OPERAS which aims to enhance trust in Open Access book publishing through increased transparency in the peer review process, offering publishers a standardised platform to display their peer review procedures, integrate metadata, ultimately building trust in Open Access book publishing.
Learning outcomes:
- Understand peer review in relation to Responsible Research Assessment;
- Learn how PRISM works and how it helps increase transparency in Peer Review for OA books;
- Reflect on how PRISM could be useful in the context of Responsible Research Assessment.
