The PDF summarises results from the ten Policy Innovation Labs (PILs) conducted under Task 4.3 of the CARINA project. The PILs brought together stakeholders to identify policy gaps and opportunities in countries hosting demonstration fields. The document synthesises key discussion outcomes, highlighting country-specific policy contexts, challenges, and opportunities across six thematic areas: cultural, technical, economic, environmental, governance, and structural.  

The report is structured into two parts: 

• The first covers countries with more consolidated carinata and camelina value chains – France, Spain, Italy, Germany, and Poland – with one table per country.  

• The second addresses countries where these value chains are less consolidated, but where oilseed production is well developed (Bulgaria, Morocco, Tunisia, Serbia, and Greece), presented in a single consolidated table.
