This document is a public deliverable (D6.1) and as such will be available online with unre-stricted access. It outlines the ECHO project’s overall approach to communication, dissemina-tion and exploitation - part of WP6: Dissemination and Communication. Although the Commu-nication, Dissemination & Exploitation Plan is a deliverable to be submitted to the European Commission by month 4 of the ECHO project, it will be annually reviewed and updated to ensure that its objectives are met and amended if necessary.
The C&D&E Plan is designed to provide consortium partners the required support in approach-ing a unitary and consistent style of communication regarding the project and its related activ-ities.
Communication and dissemination activities are directed towards raising awareness among the target groups, engaging stakeholders and promoting the project together with related ac-tivities, achievements and potential exploitation perspectives.
The C&D&E Plan includes a specific set of both dissemination measures (for the public dis-closure of project results and transfer of knowledge to key citizen groups) and communication activities (targeted measures to promote the project, activities to engage citizens and end-users, information about the project's contribution towards societal challenges).
