Description

This presentation introduces CoPhiEditor and CoPhiViewer, two complementary tools developed within the ERC GreekSchools project to advance digital scholarly editing. CoPhiEditor employs a Domain-Specific Language (DSL) to formalize editorial practices, enabling philologists to prepare critical editions while generating standardized TEI/EpiDoc XML output. It supports computer-aided tasks such as textual restoration and the management of editorial hypotheses, while fostering collaboration and interoperability. CoPhiViewer completes the workflow by providing user-friendly visualization and dissemination of editions. Together, these tools demonstrate how DSL-based approaches can integrate traditional scholarship with computational methods in the editing of ancient papyri.
