Dataset: LyoScope: a portable lyoluminescence reader prototype
Authors/Creators
Description
This dataset accompanies the manuscript titled "LyoScope: a portable lyoluminescence reader prototype" and provides supporting data and resources that validate the findings presented in the study. It includes a high-resolution video file recorded using an EM-CCD camera, showcasing the lyoluminescence (LL) phenomenon and illustrating the sensitivity and operational reliability of the LyoScope device. Detailed measurement data used to determine the minimum detectable dose (MDD) of the LyoScope are included, which are critical for assessing the device’s potential for radiation dosimetry applications. Comprehensive data from repeatability tests performed to evaluate the precision and consistency of LL measurements using the LyoScope further demonstrate the device's reliability for experimental and practical applications. Additionally, the dataset contains STL and IGES files of the LyoScope’s modular components, enabling easy replication and 3D printing of the device. These files are provided to facilitate the assembly and potential modification of the prototype for diverse research and industrial purposes.
