This deliverable outlines the data and software management activities within the OSTrails Horizon Europe project, which aims to enhance the planning, tracking, and assessment of scientific knowledge production. OSTrails functions at a meta-level, emphasising Data Management Plans (DMPs) and the principles of FAIRness as essential elements. The project facilitates the creation of machine-actionable DMPs and their assessment using established rubrics, guiding future revisions of the DMP. Consequently, the DMP will also act as a pilot for testing project outputs on a broader scale, in accordance with the Horizon Europe pilot.
