D4.1 Report on co-design of the AI-Assisted Platform with stakeholders' community
Contributors
Description
This document sets out the report on the co-design of AI-assisted platform user experience (D4.1) for the D4RUNOFF project and its three case studies in Bolbro (Denmark), Pontedera (Italy) and Santander (Spain). It also addresses specific objective (SO) 5 – Development of an AI-assisted platform to facilitate the development of effective urban runoff and stormwater management plans based on informed decisions.
D4RUNOFF is a three-and-a-half-year project funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe Climate, Energy and Mobility programme and coordinated by VandCenter Syd. The consortium consists of 13 organisations from Denmark, Spain, Portugal, France, and Italy, with leading experts in innovative water management systems, healthy water environments, civil engineers, interdisciplinary scientists and AI specialists. The overall goal of D4RUNOFF is to create a novel framework for preventing and managing diffuse pollution from urban water runoff.
D4RUNOFF is developing an AI-assisted platform (D4RUNOFF platform) to support multi-criteria decision-making based on data extracted from online sensors and other sources so that stormwater pollution issues could be addressed through the complete or partial application of nature-based solutions (NBS) as a systemic approach to stormwater pollution prevention and purification.
This document will cover the following elements:
• Methodology for co-design of stakeholders‘ journeys
• Synthesis of results in each of the case studies
• Prototypes (storyboards and mock-ups)
• Lessons learnt and recommendations for the development of the D4RUNOFF platform
Deliverable 4.1 was concluded and submitted in April 2023 by 3OC with the support of ITG and VCS as the reviewers and KLK, ING TOS, UC, AQU and VCS as active contributors of the case studies.
