The Data Management Plan (DMP) is an essential component of the WASTELESS project. This deliverable, D8.3 – Data Management Plan – update (Month 18, M18), provides an update on the previous deliverable, D8.2 – Data Management Plan, submitted at M6. Both the initial (M6) and updated (M18) versions of the DMP outline a comprehensive set of tools and strategies employed by the WASTELESS consortium to effectively manage the datasets generated throughout the project's duration. The European Commission (EC) has been encouraging open access and the reuse of digital research data generated by Horizon 2020 projects through the Open Research Data Pilot, following FAIR Data Principles, which ensure that all research data is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR). This update, D8.3, ensures that the DMP remains aligned with the evolving needs and objectives of the WASTELESS project, guaranteeing that the data remains FAIR for potential users. The alterations and updates made to the initial version of the document (D8.2, M6) are underlined. Nevertheless, the Data Management Plan (DMP) is a dynamic document and will be updated as necessary to reflect any changes to the project rules and procedures as we progress towards completion. These updates will be finalized in D8.4 – Data Management Plan – final by M36.
