This presentation belongs to a lecture that was given during the Summer School on 'Strategies for adapting to and mitigating the effects of climate change in the agricultural sector', held on 24-26 April 2024 in Vic, Spain for SMART4ENV Project.  The summer school lasted for 3 days, with each day having name of NUTRIDAY, FERTIDAY and WATERDAY. Presentation 1 of FERTI-DAY began with Laura Díaz and Ana Robles from BETA TC discussing the reduction of environmental impacts through alternative sustainable fertilizers and innovative practices. The session provides insights into the crucial role of biofertilizers and organic farming in promoting soil health and sustainability.
