Description

Conclusions
➢ Equilibrium condition of wustite reduction into metallic Fe at different 𝑝𝐻2/𝑝𝐻2𝑂
and temperatures.
➢ Reduction at 800 °C provides highest reduction kinetics
➢ Mayenite formation correlates exclusively with reduction temperature and its formation
increases significantly at 1000 °C
➢ Sintering mechanism at higher temperature strongly affects microstructure of H2
-reduced BR
pellets, resulting in occurrence of smaller pores and merged micropores.
