This presentation reports on research conducted in the context of a Transnational Accesss Fellowship at the Ghent Center for Digital Humanities, funded by CLS Infra.

In the research project, we apply an aspect-based sentiment analysis pipeline to a corpus of comments on fanfiction about Greek myth to detect which aspects of this fanfiction and the reading experience are most often cited by commenters/readers as generating affective responses or evaluations.
