One of the main tasks of the DIAMAS project is to investigate the financial sustainability of institutional publishing in Europe and to provide recommendations that will help Diamond Open Access (OA) publishers and service providers become more sustainable. DIAMAS has published a research report that draws on the results of a literature review of economic and financial aspects of institutional publishing, quantitative surveys, focus groups, and interviews conducted across 18 months.
