This White Paper calls for targeted actions engaging all stakeholders to accelerate the transition of the woodworking industries and the entire European economy towards decarbonisation, inclusivity, and sustainable success.

WoodCircus is a Horizon 2020 funded project aimed to increase knowledge, raise awareness and improve conditions for a wider uptake of resource efficient processing and recycling solutions in wood-based value chains, fostering higher competitiveness of the European forest-based sector. The project was carried out from 2018 to 2021 by 17 partners including seven research organizations, five industrial partners and three representative European organizations.
