Persistent Identifiers (PIDs) for Facilities Research Workshop - Presentations

The workshop, which took place on the 22nd October 2021, organised by ExPaNDS project where presenters gave an update on the state-of-the-art and recent developments in the use of persistent identifiers that are popular elsewhere but are not yet widely adopted by research facilities. The workshop aimed to facilitate a productive discussion across facilities about the actual and desired levels of persistent identifiers adoption across facilities research lifecycle, from the approval of experiments through data collection, analysis and towards the publishing of experimental results. Six presentations were followed by a round table discussion that collected ideas for future communication.
