VIRTIGATION is a multi-actor project aimed at developing bio-based solutions to tackle emerging viral diseases caused by begomoviruses (whitefly-transmitted) and tobamoviruses (mechanically transmitted) in tomato and cucurbit crops. The most threatening viruses which are currently becoming widespread are the begomoviruses ToLCNDV (Tomato leaf curl New Delhi Virus) and TYLCV (Tomato yellow leaf curl virus), as well as the tobamovirus ToBRFV (Tomato brown rugose fruit virus).

This community provides a space for sharing of material related to viral diseases in tomatoes and cucurbits.
