This is the Research Data Zenodo Community for University College Dublin (UCD). It is intended to be used for publishing research data created by researchers affiliated with UCD. UCD's Research Data Zenodo Community is managed by UCD Library. 

Open Science is fundamental to both high quality research and academic integrity, while the FAIR Data Principles ensure that data are Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable. Data publishing in repositories is one of the essential components of Open Science and FAIR Data. They aim to ensure that research data are accessible, retrievable and usable. 

There are various options for data deposition: preference should be given to discipline specific repositories and/or repositories recommended by funders. Deposition of research data to the UCD Research Data Zenodo Community should be chosen if no suitable discipline specific repository is available.
