UbiCODE is a scientific consortium funded by the EU, formed by 11 research institutions across 5 European countries. The aim of UbiCODE is to understand the role of the proteins of the ubiquitin family, which are at the heart of almost every biological process. These can modify other proteins and defects in those modifications can result in diseases like cancer, neurodegeneration, infectious diseases or developmental anomalies. UbiCODE is committed to the training of 12 PhD students in the field of ubiquitin.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 765445.
