Our Mission: The RE-INTEGRATE project aims to bridge the gap between the African Union (AU) and the European Union (EU) in developing climate-compatible energy strategies. Our mission is to foster sustainable and inclusive energy solutions that contribute to both regions' socio-economic development while addressing global climate change challenges.

Our Vision: We envision a future where sustainable energy systems drive economic growth, environmental sustainability, and social inclusivity within and between the AU and EU. Through collaboration, open science, and shared knowledge, RE-INTEGRATE aspires to be a cornerstone in achieving this future.

Our Work: RE-INTEGRATE focuses on the following key areas:

  • Research and Development: Conducting cutting-edge research to develop sustainable energy models and strategies.
  • Data Sharing: Facilitating open access to research findings, datasets, and tools essential for energy planning and policy-making.
  • Capacity Building: Enhancing skills and knowledge among stakeholders in both regions through workshops, seminars, and educational materials.
  • Collaboration: Building a strong network of researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to foster dialogue and joint initiatives.

Join Our Community: The RE-INTEGRATE Energy Collaboration community on Zenodo is a platform for professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts to share and discover resources that advance our mission. By joining our community, you gain access to a wealth of resources, including:

  • Research papers and publications
  • Data sets and models
  • Policy briefs and recommendations
  • Educational and training materials

We encourage members to contribute their work, collaborate with peers, and engage in discussions that drive forward the energy transition agenda.
