Connecting Nature was a Horizon 2020 which ran from June 1st 2017 to May 31st 2022. It was a consortium consisting of 38 partners within 19 European countries plus Brazil, China, Korea, and the Caucasus (Georgia and Armenia). The project worked with local authorities, communities, industry partners, NGOs, and academics who were seeking to invest in a multi-million euro large-scale implementation of nature-based projects in urban settings. The project measured the impact of these initiatives on climate change adaptation, health and well-being, social cohesion, and sustainable economic development in these cities. It also developed a diversity of innovative actions to nurture the start-up and growth of commercial and social enterprises active in producing nature-based solutions and products. Project outputs can be found on the website: www.connectingnature.eu.
