Robotics system integration (second version)
Authors/Creators
Description
This document is a description of the efforts that led to the integration of two key components of the PILOTING I&M platform:
- the generic Robot Control Station (gRCS), which standardizes the supervision of the robotic vehicles, and
- the robotic engine, which integrates the autonomous functionalities on the robotic vehicles.
It also includes experiments performed at laboratory or controlled environments, to validate such integration. In addition, since this deliverable corresponds to the second cycle of integration, some experiments have been performed in more realistic environments.
This deliverable is the direct outcome of the work performed within tasks T7.1 (“Ground and crawler robotic systems integration”) and T7.2 (“Aerial and hybrid robotic system integration”). It is also the continuation of deliverable D7.1, which describes the first integration cycle. Multiple references to D7.1 are made in this document to avoid duplication of information.
