Oriental: 1) India (Geevarghese & Mishra 2011).

Several records of Haemaphysalis paraturturis were published as Haemaphysalis bispinosa intermedia, a synonym of Haemaphysalis intermedia, in Nuttall & Warburton (1915) and Sharif (1928), as discussed in Hoogstraal et al. (1963b).
