Survey design to evaluate responsible research and innovation policies and practices in research performing organisations (GRRIP.eu)

  • 1. ICoRSA

Description

Introducing responsible research and innovation policies and practices can be a challenging task, and understanding progress is critical. Here, we present a template for evaluating progress.

Respondents of this survey worked in research performing organisation in the marine and maritime sector, which is taking part in the GRRIP (Grounding RRI Practices in research performing organisations) project. The survey was conducted as part of auditing the policies and practices of the five marine & maritime organisations involved in GRRIP and to gather respondents' perspectives on these policies and practices. This upload includes the survey design of the GRRIP project's WP5 Research Performing Organisation Survey1.

This survey form may be useful for other research organisations to adapt to evaluate progress in their journeys towards more socially responsible policies and practices. When using this form, organisations can make adjustments, select the most relevant elements and topics, etc. to make this work for their purposes. If interested in using the survey form as a 'ready built' solution (including data analysis dashboard), contact the survey platform provider used in the project: qualiaanalytics.org.
