Description
SICOPOLIS-AD is a version of the ice sheet model SICOPOLIS (SImulation COde for POLythermal Ice Sheets, https://www.sicopolis.net) that enables adjoint code generation via source transformation using the open-source algorithmic differentiation (AD) tool Tapenade. It can be used to assess the sensitivity of some quantity of interest (e.g., the volume of the Greenland ice sheet) to perturbations in variables that may affect that quantity of interest (e.g., the surface temperature at each point on the ice sheet).
V2.0.1: Links in README updated.
V2: SICOPOLIS-AD v2 (OpenAD replaced by Tapenade).
V1.0.1: Quick Start Manual added as a separate document.
V1: SICOPOLIS-AD v1.
