The patient perspective is increasingly considered to be an essential component of healthcare research and decision-making. A growing area of focus is the measurement and use of patient preferences regarding different medical treatment options or their properties. This work aimed to identify stakeholders’ desires, expectations, concerns and requirements regarding the measurement and use of patient preferences throughout the medical product life cycle.
