Amphipeplea vinosa Adams & Angas, 1864: 415. Type material —location unknown. Type locality —“Tributary of Adelaide River, Arnheim’s [sic] Land”.
Remarks. Listed by Paetel (1888: 482) among Ampullariidae. Lymnaeidae Rafinesque; placed in his new genus Peplimnea by Iredale (1943: 212); valid species in Austropeplea Cotton, teste Blair & Finlayson (1981: 757), followed by Ponder & Waterhouse (1997: 441).
