Pelage coloration in black-headed uacaris: (1) C. ouakary from Santa Isabel do Rio Negro, Brazil (MN68616), (2) C. m. melanocephalus from Capibara, Venezuela (USMN406572), (3) C. m. melanocephalus from Serra do Imeri, Brazil (MN68611), (4) C. m. ayresi from Lower Rio Aracá, Brazil (INPA5248). Specimens 1, 3, and 4 are adapted from Boubli et al. (2008), and specimen 2 was obtained from the mammal collection of the National Museum of Natural History at the Smithsonian Institution, available online at http://collections.nmnh.si.edu/search/mammals/.
