A recommendation for a complete open source policy
Description
A white paper to the National Academy of Sciences Committee on Best Practices for a Future Open Code Policy for NASA Space Science. It argues for and recommends that all NASA-funded science code be required to be open source (see the list of all white papers). The results of this Committee are published in Open Source Software Policy Options for NASA Earth and Space Sciences (https://doi.org/10.17226/25217).
