CODECO Deliverable D4 is the third and final version of the CODECO Data Management and Ethics Handling (DME) deliverable, developed under WP1, Task 1.1. It provides a complete account of the data generated, curated, and shared throughout the project lifespan (January 2023 – March 2026), updating the intermediate reporting provided in D3. As part of making research data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Re-usable (FAIR), ethical dimensions of handling the data that are necessary for the use-cases, and how to correctly manage them throughout the project were considered.
Over the course of the project, the CODECO consortium produced a total of 13 open datasets across six use-cases spanning Smart Cities and Mobility, Energy, and Manufacturing. All datasets are publicly available under CC BY 4.0 licences, assigned persistent DOIs, and deposited across three complementary repositories, hereafter referred to as the CODECO data repositories: the CODECO Eclipse Research GitLab, Zenodo, and figShare, ensuring redundancy and broad discoverability, including indexation via data.europa.eu and OpenAIRE. The datasets are listed in detail in Section 3 and summarized in this executive summary:
