Description
The SPEARHEAD E>100 MeV SOHO/ERNE catalogue includes 172 Solar Energetic Particle (SEP) events. A description of the catalogue's contents follow:
- Columns 1–2 list the SEP event number and identifier.
- Columns 3–4 give the event date, start time at SoHO/ERNE >100 MeV, and background level of the analysed channel.
- Columns 5–9 summarize SoHO/EPHIN >100 MeV results: background, peak flux, fluence, and end time.
- Columns 10–17 provide Soft X-ray (SXR) flare details (start, peak, and end times; peak flux; fluence; position; and observing spacecraft).
- Columns 18–26 list the corresponding Hard X-ray (HXR) parameters when available (onset, peak, and end times; magnitude; total counts; energy range; position; and observer).
- Columns 27–47 describe radio emissions: type III (Cols 27–33), type II (Cols 34–40), and type IV (Cols 41–47), including the observing station or spacecraft, onset time, and frequency range (MHz).
- Columns 48–54 contain γ-ray information (onset, peak, and end times; peak intensity; total counts; and observer).
- Columns 55–58 list associated Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) data (first appearance, plane-of-sky speed, width, and identification source, e.g. SoHO/LASCO).
- Columns 59–62 summarize Ground LEvel Enhancement (GLE) characteristics (reference number, intensity, fluence, and station).
- Column 63 provides comments and cross-references to other published SEP catalogues.
