Introduction to BioImage Analysis at Curso de Fundamentos de Microscopia Optica

Lecture giving a very brief introduction to BioImage analysis. The lecture was prepared for the 2025 Curso de Fundamentos de Microscopia Optica. The lecture was delivered in Spanish although the presenter notes are in English. The lecture lasted approximately 20 minutes. The learning outcomes include: Acknowledging the characteristics of bioimage analysis and why it is needed, an overview of classical bioimage analysis pipelines and a few examples of classical algorithms and deep learning models.
