Molecular Profiling in Oncology

Description

The video “Molecular Profiling in Oncology” was created as part of the CGI-Clinics project. Aimed at a broad audience, it focuses on the clinical utility of tumor genomic profiling. It explains how molecular profiling extends traditional cancer classification by incorporating specific genetic and molecular alterations to better predict treatment response. The video explores barriers such as cost, access, and variability in patient response, and introduces CGI-Clinics as a collaborative effort to democratize genomic interpretation across Europe. Emphasis is placed on equipping both patients and clinicians with the knowledge to make informed, equitable treatment decisions.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme under grant agreement CGI-Clinics 101057509.
