Open access to experimental data generated by the project Electro-Intrusion (101017858, Horizon 2020, European Union) along with the research on the stability of hydrophobic porous materials to be used in intrusion-extrusion applications. Research pertaining to Task 2.1 (WP2).

Underlying data for the publication Bartolomé, Luis et al. Triboelectrification During Water Intrusion–Extrusion intofrom Hydrophobic Nanopores. Advanced Materials Technologies 2024, 2401744. https://doi.org/10.1002/admt.202401744. Data related to Figures 3, 4, 5 and 6 in the article.

The folder ‘HC8_Passive_DoubleElect’ contains the following:

  • Experiments at room temperature (folder named ‘ROOM TEMP’)
    • with different load resistances (folder named ‘LOAD RESIS’)
    • at different compression/decompression rates (folder named 'RATE’)
  •         Experiments at temperature 5.5 ºC at different compression/decompression rates (Folder named ‘5p5_DEGREES’)

The folder ‘FC8_Passive_DoubleElect’ contains the following:

  •         Experiment at room temperature
  •         Cycling experiment (folder named ‘CYCLING’)

All the Excel files consist of four columns data obtained for the triboelectrification tests where first column is the time (named ‘Time*’), second one the voltage corresponding to the pressure (named ‘cDAQ1Mod1_ai1’), the third one the voltage of the experiment circuit (named ‘cDAQ1Mod1_ai3’) and the fourth one the current of the experiment circuit (‘cDAQ1Mod1_ai2’).
