Description
B2INST is a Persistent Identifier service for global and unique identification of instruments operated within the research domain.
With the Data Type Registry (DTR) integration, instrument metadata schemas are centrally maintained and versioned. By linking metadata schemas to the Data Type Registry, communities can defune their own metadata extensions while maintaining a single authoritative source for schema validation. This streamlines metadata schema definition process and ensures up-to-date instrument profiles for communities.
