Webinar: Geopolitics of ICT Standardisation with a focus on South Korea

The StandICT.eu Standards Training Academy in collaboration with INSTAR hosted a webinar diving into the Republic of Korea's standardisation strategies in ICT on 15 April 2025 from 9:00 to 10:30 CEST (16:00 – 17:30 Korea Standard Time). Since decades, the Republic of Korea has become a well-established and strong actor in international standardisation, particularly in ICT, which is impressively endorsed the patent applications of its well-known multinationals, but also their declared standard-essential patents. This webinar intended to get an update of the Republic of Korea ICT standardisation strategy and activities in general, followed by a closer look at its activities in ICT.
