Lemming Mesocosm (Denmark): in-situ fluorescence chlorophyll-a calibration, analysis code

  • 1. ROR icon Aarhus University

Description

These analysis codes are basically used for testing and calibrating high-frequency in-situ chlorophyll-a fluorescence sensor (Turner Designs, Cyclops 7F) data, collected between 2018 and 2020 in Lemming mesocosm site, Denmark. At this mesocosm site there are 24 tanks with 2 nutrient and 3 temperature treatments (2x3 factorial design).

These analysis codes are used for cleaning in-situ fluorescence data from 24 chlorophyll-a and 12 phycocyanin sensors, conducting various tests for these fluorescence sensors and for calibrating in-situ chlorophyll-a fluorescence data against in-vitro chlorophyll-a data.

In the uploaded folder there are three .R files

  • LemCP_InSitu_DataClean
    • Code for in-situ chlorophyll-a and phycocyanin fluorescence data cleaning
  • LemCP_DataWork_Graphs
    • Codes for organizing all the datasets, calibrating in-situ fluorescence sensors and plotting figures
  • LemCP_OutliersTest
    • This is an example code, showing how the outliers in chlorophyll-a data were defined.
