Description

Subject: This is an interdisciplinary lesson. It combines multiple subjects, specifically Physics, Geography, Social and Political Education, and Language.


Abstract: The students will gain an in-depth understanding of the term "climate change," its causes, and its impact on their quality of life. They will be inspired by the actions of young activists combating climate change, develop ecological consciousness, and propose measures to address this phenomenon.


Lesson Plan Method: Face-to-face learning, online learning, project-based learning, game-based learning, blended learning, collaborative learning, inquiry-based learning, hands-on learning.


Age of Students: Grade 6


Preparation Time: 45 minutes


Teaching Time: 125 minutes


Learning Objectives: By completing this learning plan, students will be able to:

  • Activate their critical thinking and relate previous knowledge and experience.
  • List the main causes of climate change at a global level.
  • Relate the effects of climate change on humans and the environment.
  • Propose elementary measures to reduce the effects of climate change.
  • Express their point of view based on scientific arguments.
  • Cultivate ecological consciousness in their everyday life.
  • Be inspired by the actions of young activists in the 21st century.
  • Develop their interpersonal relationships.
