Description
The main goal of the INSPIRE Project Management Handbook is to provide the relevant information necessary for a smooth project implementation. The specific goals of the document are:
To operationalise the approved governance structure by clearly assigning the roles and responsibilities to partners and members
To define key project processes in order to facilitate the monitoring of the implementation process
To indicate the project’s processes and tasks for reporting
The document is structured in six sections. Starting from the organisational structure, the main bodies of the project and their responsibilities are defined, this includes the management board, the implementation board and the role of the External Experts Advisory Board. Second, the operational procedures for the Management Board are identified. Third, the main instruments and procedures for Technical Coordination are explained. This is followed by a section which documents the project reporting procedure to the European Commission. Finally, the key procedures of Dissemination Management are outlined. It should be read in conjunction with the Grant Agreement (GA) and the Consortium Agreement (CA).
