The Landscape of Quantum Sensing

We are researchers without any background in quantum sensing who are thinking of entering the field and who wanted to understand the landscape of schemes and concepts that exist already. The PDF enclosed in this repository is an attempt at categorizing the very broad range of quantum-sensing methods. We welcome comments and suggestions! In particular, we would love to hear about:

*1. What did we miss?* Are there any techniques that are important for researchers new to quantum sensing to know about that we omitted?

*2. What did we get wrong?* Did we misunderstand or miscategorize any methods or papers? Even if were were not formally _wrong_, how could we have done better in characterizing the methods we included?
