Investigations of seafloor biodiversity and their roles in arctic marine ecosystems.

  • 1. Åbo Akademi University

Description

A 20-minute presentation on our current work on Northeast Greenland Epibenthic structure, biodiversity and functional diversity. The presentation starts with a background about who the Environment and Marine Biology Faculty are at Åbo Akademi University and then more of a scientific background about the Arctic, why it is important and how it is changing. It is then followed by our research into benthic communities and their relationships to the environment via their traits.
