Visual Fire Power sensitivity analysis code

  • 1. Imperial College London

Description

Visual fire power is a method for measuring the heat release rate of visible flames from video footage taken by two cameras located at a right angle to each other. It does this by estimating the volume of the flames, and then scaling by the Orloff-DeRis constant. The method is explained in our paper published in Fire Technology in 2022.

This folder contains the code used to perform the sensitivity analysis described in the above paper, written in Python 3.8 and using Blender v2.83.1
