Strategic business management in toursim

Description

The subject of research is strategic management of tourism enterprises.
The purpose of research to generalize modern approaches to understanding the essence of
strategic business management, to determine its features and functions, and to analyze the features
of the application of strategic management in the tourism sector
Methods of research. The study uses a set of scientific methods and approaches, including the
dialectical method of scientific cognition, system, logical, method of analysis and synthesis, comparative
method, generalization method.

Consequences. The unpredictable changes in the external environment caused by the Covid–19
pandemic have highlighted the importance of applying strategic management to tourism enterprises
of all sizes, as such management aims to ensure the sustainable operation of enterprises in this area
and achieve its long–term goals by minimal cost. Strategic management at the enterprises of the
tourism sphere provides a diversified approach to defining the strategic goals of their development
and improving the efficiency of operation.
