Description

Presented (oral presentation) at the 37th European PV Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition EUPVSEC, 07 - 11 September 2020. In this work, we report on the synthesis and characterization of all-oxide transparent devices based on ZnO. We also report for the first time on the PV effect on transparent UV-selective Zn(O1-x,Sx)-based devices, with different S content x=0.3, 0.6, 0.8. These devices present VOC of up to 500 mV. Additionally, preliminary results show that, upon introduction of a C60 electron transport layer between the Zn(O,S) and ITO contact, the photocurrent is greatly increased, obtaining short-circuit current densities as high as 4 mAcm-2 and yielding efficiencies of 0.5% assuming AM1.5G illumination.  A detailed analysis of the results obtained as well as the PV characterization of the best devices is presented.
