Motivational Persistence in Teachers and Its Influencing Factors

  • 1. "Ion Creanga" State Pedagogical University of Chisinau

Description

The article presents an experimental study of the motivational persistence of the teachers, conducted on a sample of 300 subjects. The analysis of the obtained data shows that the majority of the teaching staff participating in the experiment denote a high and moderate level of motivational persistence, with very high tendencies registered in the teaching staff of private educational institutions. The latter result may be explained by the generous remuneration, better working conditions, and richer logistical and teaching resources enjoyed by private school teachers, compared to their colleagues employed in state schools.
