The TRUMPET project has a dual objective. Firstly, it seeks to research and develop innovative methods for enhancing privacy in federated learning. Secondly, it aims to deliver a federated AI service platform that enables researchers to analyze European datasets from multiple sites, domains, and countries, while ensuring privacy protections that surpass the requirements of the GDPR.

Specifically, the TRUMPET project aims to:

• Collaborate with pertinent initiatives and agencies such as the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC).
• Engage with relevant H2020 and Horizon Europe initiatives.
• Develop a strategy to facilitate the European adoption of the TRUMPET privacy metric for certifying GDPR compliance in federated learning implementations.
