Trees4Adapt operates in compliance with FAIR data principles, ensuring that data are findable, accessible, interoperable, and re-usable. As such, every deposition of data to the Trees4Adapt Zenodo community is required to be accompanied by the minimum metadata terms of Data Cite's Metadata Schema*. Additionally, deposited data must be accompanied by keywords, the status of the uploaded output (preliminary/final), the associated work package, and the Trees4Adapt grant number. In most cases, more detailed metadata will be provided. For instance, when depositing academic publications to Zenodo, metadata relating to the associated journal, journal volume and issue, date of submission, date of acceptance, and date of publication should be provided. For presentations, information on the location of the presentation, exact/approximate number of attendees, and target multi-actor groups should be included. Individual partners are responsible for ensuring that the metadata standards of their respective institutions are additionally met. Generally speaking, metadata should be as detailed as possible to ensure that deposited data are maximally findable. Prior to being published on Zenodo, deposited data are checked by the coordinator to ensure they comply with the project's data and metadata management policies. If deposited (meta)data are non-compliant, or additional (meta)data are requested, the coordinator will contact the main author with a request for additional information.

For each uploaded output, ensure that you have provided the minimum metadata terms of Data Cite's Metadata Schema, keywords, and the Trees4Adapt grant number.
