Responsibilities & quality standard

o  all semi-permanently used anchor points must be documented here

o  curators and managers can add content

o  all newly added content will be reviewed by the curation team to meet the quality standard

o  images need a minimum resolution of 300dpi

Documentation requirements

Anchor point documentaion

o  when climbing in an existing or establishing a new semi-permanent anchor point

o   fill out the anchor point assessment

o   take a recent photo

o   create a pdf and upload it to this page.

o   name of the pdf: anchor_YYMMDD_treeID_number (the suffix anchor_ is used to automatically get anchor point assessments separat from tree assessment)

Tree health documentation

o  once a year all trees involved in research projects will be assessed by an expert for safety and the documentation will be uploaded here.

o   upload pdf for the tree assessment

o   name of the pdf: tree_YYMMDD_treeID (the suffix tree_ is used to automatically get anchor point assessments separat from tree assessment)

DOI Assignment and Public Access

o  each entry will receive a Digital Object Identifier (DOI)

o  entries will be permanently stored and made publicly available

Data Entry Standards

o  Anchor Point Assessments: Detailed descriptions, photos (minimum resolution: 300 dpi), and any additional relevant information.

o  Tree Assessments: Comprehensive safety evaluations, including photos (minimum resolution: 300 dpi) and detailed observations.
