In the collaborative research centre SFB 1280 “Extinction Learning” funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) we have investigated the fundamentals of extinction learning since 2017. Our 18 subprojects combine the latest neuroscientific, psychological, and medical methods at the Ruhr University Bochum, University of Duisburg-Essen, Leibniz Research Centre for Human Factors and Working Environment at the TU Dortmund, and University of Marburg.
