Septentrion Environnement is a non-profit organisation born from the awareness that the oceans are at the centre of major economic, ecological and cultural issues. The Association is involved in the acquisition and transfer of knowledge on marine ecosystems. It is particularly involved in actions in favour of the protection of the natural and cultural underwater heritage and the understanding of the processes which may impact it.

The association carries out:

- scientific actions in ecology and exploration through innovative technologies;

- training in environmental science, scuba diving and field investigation techniques;

- actions addressed to the civil society through participatory science and the design of communication supports.

Septentrion Environnement est une Association loi 1901 née de la prise de conscience que les océans sont au centre d’enjeux économiques, écologiques et culturels majeurs. L’Association s'investit dans l’acquisition et le transfert de la connaissance sur les écosystèmes marins. Elle s'implique notamment dans des actions en faveur de la protection du patrimoine naturel et culturel sous-marin et de la compréhension des processus qui l'impactent.

L'association mène:

- des actions scientifiques en écologie et l'exploration par le biais de technologies innovantes ;

- des formations en science de l'environnement, en plongée sous-marine et en technique d'investigation de terrain ;

- des actions à destination du plus grand nombre par les sciences participatives et la conception de supports de communication.
